As we've reported before, each year LU Motorsport (Loughborough University Motorsport) develops, builds, tests and races a new single seat race car. From CAD to test circuit, these vehicles are designed from a blank sheet of paper, with the knowledge and expertise from over a decade of racing experience.

The Neutrik XLR series of cable and chassis electrical connectors were designed for use in professional audio and lighting systems and are also used in many industrial applications.

The LMH series of bayonet-coupling circular power connectors from UK manufacturer Weald Electronics meets the requirements of MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 and Patt 105. The connectors are manufactured in accordance with BS9522 F0017 and BS/CECC 75201-003.

We have made available a range of mains power circular connectors manufactured in the UK by Weald Electronics. The LMV range is produced to IEQC-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-004 which includes the safety requirements of BS EN 60950 for safe use in mains applications and CE marked assemblies including the on-board charging of electric vehicles.

We are happy to announce that we can now supply several types and sizes of D-Subminiature and Rectangular connector systems populated by PosiBand®, a proprietary contact that overcomes the weaknesses inherent in the design of closed entry female contacts currently in use by many connector manufacturers. 

We will present our circular power connector capability at DVD 2016, scheduled to be staged at the Millbrook Proving Ground on September 7 and 8th. DVD 2016 is organised by Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), which is the part of the Ministry of Defence responsible for equipping and supporting the UK's armed forces for current and future operations.
