Low Profile Rack and Panel Connector System can Combine Power and Signal Contacts for Maximum Versatility

We can now announce a low profile rack and panel connector system which can be configured for use as a power connector, a signal level connector or as a combination of the two in an almost endless variety of power/signal contact configurations.
The low profile 8.20mm high, Positronic Scorpion connector series allows a user to develop a connector solution in a single housing that can be exactly tailored to suit the application. Contacts are rated up to 55A for size 12, 12A for size 20 and 3A for size 22 contacts while blanks/spacers allow flexibility for meeting high voltage requirements or for adding space between power and signal pin clusters.
Contact resistance is as low as 1mΩ for standard conductivity contacts and 0.7mΩ for high conductivity contacts. Contact terminations include board-to-board, board-to-cable, cable-to-cable, and panel mount options. Additional features and accessories include ventilation slots in the connector housing, integral blind mate system, integral locking system, float mounts, panel mount clips, and board locks.
