MIL-DTL-24308 spec connectors are miniature, polarized shell, rack and panel connectors with a wide variety of contacts including solder, crimp and insulation displacement. They are designed for applications that do not require environmental protection and are used where space and weight saving is important.

Despite the fact that MIL-DTL-24308 connectors (the specification was formerly known as MIL-C-24308 or MIL-PRF-24308) are designed mainly for rack and panel applications, they can also be adapted for other uses by addition of accessories and integral clamps.
