Lane Electronics to Showcase Circular Power Connectors at DVD 2016

We will present our circular power connector capability at DVD 2016, scheduled to be staged at the Millbrook Proving Ground on September 7 and 8th. DVD 2016 is organised by Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), which is the part of the Ministry of Defence responsible for equipping and supporting the UK's armed forces for current and future operations.
FC Lane offers from stock a huge selection of multi-pin circular connectors and accessories designed for applications ranging from military and mining to motorsport, entertainment, and general industrial. Lane’s multi-pin circular suppliers include Souriau and Weald Electronics.
Souriau’s 38999 Series III DC power connectors are housed in the circular MIL-DTL-38999 platforms and have been designed to be resistant to fluid and severe vibration. With current ratings based on the 38999 specification to 600A and to 750A for ground level applications, these connectors can be supplied in various body materials with a wide range of contact arrangements and finished with a choice of Zinc Cobalt, Zinc Nickel or Nickel plating.
The Weald Electronics LMV mains power range is approved to IEQC-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-004 which includes the safety requirements of BS EN 60950 for safe use in mains applications and CE marked assemblies. Made with brass shells, LMV connectors feature current ratings up 32A.
Weald’s LMH Series has been designed to perform to the requirements of MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 and Patt 105 and are manufactured in accordance with BS9522 F0017 and BS/CECC 75201-003.
Available in several shell sizes and 33 shell styles, LMH Series connectors can be supplied from Lane’s stock with 2 to 61 contacts in 20 contact arrangements. They can also be specified in a RoHS compliant olive drab finish.
The LMG range comes with either an aluminium alloy shell with a fine thread coupling or a brass shell with a coarse thread. Designed for DC and low frequency applications, these multi-contact circular connectors come with polychloroprene inserts and solder contacts. Lane Electronics can supply LMG connectors with 2 to 26 contacts in 19 contact arrangements.
Current capability ranges from 3 to 60A depending on size and the connectors are available in various finishes including RoHS compliant and can be supplied with 360º EMC screen termination.
