We are a premium distributor for the Souriau range of connectors by EATON, a world leader in high-performance interconnect technologies. And are pleased to be able supply their market leading product, the 8D / MIL-DTL-38999 Series III ELIO range of fibre optic connectors from stock.

Weald Electronics is a major UK manufacturer of electrical connectors and accessories for defence and demanding industrial applications and lead the way in high performance interconnection solutions based on MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-5015 and MIL-DTL-26482 specifications. 

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our founder and Chairman Mr Frederick Lane. Fred Lane was a key figure and inspirational leader within the Electronics Distribution Industry for nearly 60 years. He will be greatly missed by the directors and all staff at FC Lane Electronics, Lane Motorsport and Weald Electronics, the group of companies he led. We all extend our deepest sympathy to his wife and family at this sad time.

We hold extensive stocks of their RF miniature, subminiature and microminiature connectors, and can supply coaxial and microwave cables and cable assemblies on short lead times. 

We can supply a large number of key Souriau products on short lead-times from our extensive stock and as a Souriau-approved assembler, we can also supply connectors assembled in-house to exactly meet customer requirements.

We are pleased to announce the availability of a new bronze right-angle backshell from Weald Electronics designed for use with D38999 and CECC derived bronze connectors. 

To improve the energy efficiency of our operations and improve our carbon footprint we have recently installed a 63kW solar PV array at our sister company Weald Electronics Slinfold Lodge HQ. Working with the Brighton Energy Cooperative we received a grant towards the costs from the Community Solar Accelerator programme and are the first business applicants in our area to complete such an installation.
