Connector families for UAV applications

LM200 Series: compact 2mm pitch performance

The LM200 Series, manufactured to BS9525 F0033, is a highly space-efficient 2mm pitch connector system available in single- and dual-row configurations. Designed for rigid PCB, flex-circuit and cable-mounted applications using crimp contacts, the two-part connectors feature UL94 V-0 high-temperature insulators, aerospace-grade gold-plated contacts and positive spring latching for secure operation in extreme vibration environments.

M300 Series: high-density three-row capability

Complementing the LM200, the M300 Series provides a high-density three-row 2mm pitch connector option for applications requiring increased contact counts within a compact footprint. The series supports simultaneous current ratings of up to 3A per contact and is available with optional jackscrew locking to simplify mating and unmating where access is restricted.

D2 Series: modular rectangular flexibility

For applications requiring configurable interconnect solutions, the D2 Series offers a modular rectangular connector system made up of stackable double-contact modules. Available with pin, socket or mixed contact arrangements for polarisation, the system allows designers to create application-specific connector configurations while providing secure assembly using a single M2 fixing. Gold-plated solder bucket contacts are rated at up to 5A per contact, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

SMC Series: ultra-miniature circular connection

The SMC Series is an ultra-miniature circular connector with an overall diameter of only 8.45mm, making it ideal for compact UAV systems where weight and space are critical. Available for panel mounting or cable-to-cable free connections, the fully polarised three-way connector features snap-lock mating, gold-plated solder bucket contacts rated at 3A continuous, and protective cable hoods for reliable operation in demanding environments.
