Weight Saving 8STA Connector from Lane Motorsport

Our Motorsport Division have announced the addition of a weight saving connector to its circular 8STA product offering. Made by Souriau, the new 8STA connector features a half flange design with a single hole fixing and is available in 02 to 24 shell sizes. The new connector will save space in many applications by enabling users to optimize their electrical architecture for box mounting.
With a rugged aluminium body plated with conductive black Zinc as standard, Lane Motorsport offers the new half flange 8STA connector with gold plated, copper alloy contacts in sizes ranging from size 26 (3 Amp) to size 4 (80 Amp).
The connectors are 100% scoop proof and are good for 500 mating cycles. Operating temperature is – 55ºC to +175ºC and, when mated, the connector meets the requirements of IP67 and can withstand salt spray and other motorsport fluids.
Lane Motorsport offers the latest circular connectors from Souriau’s 8STA Series along with a newly introduced range of accessories from HellermannTyton and Weald Electronics – a package designed to complete a comprehensive motorsport interconnection solution which is available to specify and purchase online.
