Hermetically Sealed Souriau 8STA connectors Added to Lane’s Motorsport Portfolio

We have now added a hermetically sealed version of Souriau’s 8STA circular connector to our motorsport product portfolio.
Designed with a glass to metal insert specifically for fuel tank installations, the new hermetically sealed connector features excellent resistance to racing fuels and fluids and withstands pressure differential without any loss of electrical performance.
With a stainless steel shell available in sizes 10, 12 and 14 and contacts rated at 10A (size 16), 5A (size 20) and 3A (22D), these connectors offer excellent resistance to shock and vibration along with an operating temperature range of -55⁰C to +175⁰C. When mated, the connector is sealed to IP67 and its low profile design makes a heat shrink boot easy to fit.
These hermetically sealed connectors are often used in tandem with Souriau’s 8STA fuel immersible connectors. These incorporate a special fuel resistant insert which allows continuous immersion without loss of electrical performance.
