We have recently supplied a number of SOURIAU MIL-DTL-38999 SERIES III circular connectors with stainless steel housings for use in a unique non-contact tyre pressure checker which does away with the need for manual testing.
This is because it tests the tyre pressure as the vehicle is driven over a flush mounted device embedded into the road that contains highly sensitive, yet robust sensors.
