Lane Motorsport To Sponsor Promising Bike Racer
The motorsport division of FC Lane Electronics announces that it has agreed to sponsor Sam Osborne - a rising star in the world of the Thundersport GB Racing Club, for the 2016 season. Sam, who is 23, rides for the top racing and tuning team MGS Racing.
Lane Motorsport offers the latest circular connectors from the SOURIAU 8STA Series, along with a newly introduced range of connector accessories from HellermannTyton and Weald Electronics – a package designed to complete a comprehensive motorsport connectors solution, which is available to specify and purchase online.
An up and coming talent
Sam has been riding bikes from the age of just three years old and has worked his way up through competitions like motocross to compete in the Thundersport Pre-National 600 Class. After taking second place in the 2014 championship, Sam was headhunted by MSG Racing and now races their GSX-R 600.
Naturally, Sam is delighted with Lane Motorsport’s interest and support. ‘It has always been my dream to become a successful bike racer and the backing of sponsors like Lane Motorsport will certainly help me achieve my goal. Although I have only been racing bikes on the track for two seasons, I feel I am making real progress towards joining today’s stars like Moto3 World Champion Danny Kent, and British Superbike riders Danny Buchan and Jake Dixon.’
Lane Motorsport Managing Director Simon Hammerton said ‘We established a motorsport division around three years ago to offer this demanding sector high performance electronic connector solutions for multiple applications across racing platforms including cars, bikes, and boats at all levels of the sport. Our products are used extensively in bike racing and we are sure that our sponsorship of a promising talent like Sam will help increase our profile in this area. We will be keeping everyone up to date with Sam’s progress via our website www.lanemotorsport.com.’
