Lane Motorsport will be showcasing its most comprehensive electronics connector and accessory selection to-date on January 10th and 11th at Autosport Engineering 2019 (they'll be based at stand E760). Focused on the industry-leading Souriau 8STA connector series, Lane Motorsport’s range of connector accessories from HellermannTyton and Weald Electronics are designed to not only handle the harshest environments, but also to save money and time during assembly, installation and replacement.

These products form part of an extensive motorsport interconnection package which can be found, for purchase and specification, online at https://www.fclane.com/store

Souriau’s 8STA compact circular connectors are used broadly throughout all levels of motorsport in applications ranging from engine control units to batteries, communications equipment, data acquisition systems, and harnesses. Lane Motorsport is certified to assemble and test Souriau circular connectors and they hold extensive stocks of 8STA parts and accessories. This allows Lane to provide connector solutions that can meet the precise requirements of its customers on very short delivery times.

The Souriau 8STA connectors are offered together with time-saving nut plates and gaskets as well as lightweight protective caps (25% lighter than current models), shell machined from solid corrosion resistant aluminium. They are available with or without lanyards and also feature an anti-vibration locking design.

The heat-shrinkable protective boots from HellermannTyton are designed to combine high electric strength and mechanical toughness with superior chemical and environmental resistance. Newly added to the HellermannTyton product range is the SE28 Series, a like-for-like replacement for DR-25 tubing. Lane Motorsport have SE28 tubing available in most popular 2:1 sizes including 2.4, 3.2, 4.8 and 12.7.

SE28 Series heat shrink tubing protects cable and cable harnesses from mechanical damage such as abrasion, and resists most destructive fluids such as diesel and aviation fuels and those found in hydraulic systems. It is made from cross linked elastomer and has an operating temperature range of -75ºC up to +150ºC, making the tubing ideal for applications across most motorsport platforms.
