MIL-DTL- 38999 Circular Connectors Now Available in Many Shell Materials, Finishes and Contacts

As a leading distributor of electrical and electronic connector products we are able to supply a range of circular connectors that meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-38999 SERIES III, making them suitable for a wide variety of demanding applications.

Manufactured by Souriau, these are high density, threaded coupling connectors available in a wide range of shell materials including aluminium, composite, marine bronze and stainless steel. In addition, we can supply these 8D Series / MIL-DTL-38999 connectors in different finishes including RoHS compliant, black Zinc Nickel and Zinc Cobalt plating.

A 8D high power version is now finding wide application in electric vehicle and hybrid automotive applications. These feature single power contacts that can handle up to 850A and are designed to withstand the harsh environments found in automotive applications.

Souriau’s Elio fibre optic contacts are ideal for high speed networks in harsh environments. The contacts are easy to install and terminate and require no special tooling.
