MIL-DTL-28748
Connectors designed to the MIL-DTL-28748 standard are for those applications where it is necessary to use minimum space and weight without sacrificing performance. Previously-known as MIL-C-28748, they are also characterised by their use of high-quality materials, high resistance to shock and vibration, positive locking and a long service life.
Typical applications for MIL-DTL-28748 connectors and accessories include aerospace, instrumentation and many types of portable equipment. Positronic’s high density and standard density MIL-DTL-28748 / M28748 product ranges are made up from rectangular rack and panel connectors with non-removable solder contacts and removable crimp contacts. The rectangular rack and panel high-density connectors can be supplied with Positronic’s PosiBand contacts and are available with solder PCB mount, crimp, solder cup and press-in terminations. The standard density connectors can be supplied with 9 to 104 contacts in sizes 16 and 20.
