Phil McDavitt was appointed to the new role of Strategic Business Manager for RF and Fibre-Optic connector products at FC Lane Electronics in September 2024. He is primarily focused on strategically developing RF and Fibre-Optic business, becoming the Lane Electronics technical and commercial ‘champion’ and business leader for those and associated product groups. He is known to many in the electronics industry and brings a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge across a number of high-quality, high-performance RF and Fibre-Optic product groups gained through previous employment with leading manufacturers. He also has comprehensive knowledge and applications experience of more conventional connectors.
