Cinch Fibreco® MIL-DTL-38999 Series III derived Expanded Beam connectors are available with 1 to 16 optical contacts in shell sizes 11, 13, 15 and 17. They have been designed for use in the most demanding civil and military electronic equipment interface applications. The connectors feature the generic D38999 series III tri-start thread and self-locking anti-vibration coupling mechanism, and are available with straight or 90º / angled backshells. The Cinch-Fibreco D38999 connectors are offered in a range of shell materials and finishes including aluminum alloy (electroless nickel, zinc cobalt and olive drab plated), ), nickel aluminum bronze (shot blasted, non-reflective) and stainless steel (clear passivated).
