These double density (DD) / high density (HD) 8STA connectors have been designed by Souriau® specifically for weight and space conscious applications in demanding environments like motorsport where they are widely used in engine control units and data acquisition systems. They feature a tough aluminium body plated as standard with black zinc nickel or bright nickel. Derived from MIL-DTL-38999 and JN1003 standards, they are available in seven shell sizes capable of housing up to 68 size 26 contacts for wire sizes 24 to 30 AWG.
