The Neutrik opticalCON is a rugged fibre-optic connector system with quick-connect and secure locking. Based on and compatible with standard LC and MTP® connectors, the Neutrik opticalCON is designed to overcome the weakness inherent in these standard fibre-optic systems and provides additional dust protection, rugged materials and a secure quick-connect latching system.  The optical connection is extremely well protected against dirt and dust by its lenses and self-closing sealing cover.  This additional protection and ease of use makes this an interesting option for more demanding applications in Industrial, Defence and Medical equipment markets.
