Q: Do you have multilingual staff at FC Lane Electronics?

A: Yes, we have members of our sales team capable of covering English, French, Spanish and Polish.

Q: What is your returns policy?

A: Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for detailed information about returns.

Q: Do you charge for Certificates of Conformity?

A: We do not charge for our own lot traceable C of C's, but if you require a manufacturer’s C of C, there is a £10 charge per batch on the order.

Q: How do I know that you have received my order? Am I able to progress it?

A: All orders are generally acknowledged by email or post within 48 hours of receipt of the order. We have a customer service department who are happy to answer all order queries.

Q: Can I schedule an order?

A: Orders can be scheduled according to your requirements. By agreement, orders can also be placed and called off as required.

Q: Can I reschedule orders either by pulling in or pushing out the delivery?

A: We always endeavour to meet our customers requests, so please contact us with any requirements you may have and we will do our best to assist you.

Q: Can I increase or reduce an order?

A: Again, we will always endeavour to fulfil your request, but there may well be additional factors that control the flexibility we have.

Q: Am I able to cancel an order?

A: We can usually cancel an order, although there is sometimes a cancellation fee. If however there is an exception clause on the acknowledgement, then we do not normally accept a cancellation.

Q: Are you able to provide me with a quote?

A: Yes, we can provide you with a written or verbal quote.

Q: Can I order directly from your website?

A: Yes, we have recently launched our online store and are continually adding new ranges as they become viable.

Q: Do you have a minimum order value?

A: No, we do not normally impose a minimum order value, however this may not apply if the product is traded back to back.

Q: What are your delivery times?

A: This really depends on the product; we hold over £5.5 million of product, so often we are quoting ex-stock; otherwise we are reliant on the supplier.

Q: What are your delivery charges?

A: The delivery charges vary depending on the method of shipment and the value of the order. Please see our Carriage and Packaging page for further information.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: On account, most major credit cards and payments via PayPal.

Q: How quickly can you deliver?

A: Ex-stock items are usually despatched the same day that the order is placed.

Q: What is the latest time I can order for same day despatch?

A: Monday to Thursday - 3pm, and Friday - 2pm.

Q: How can I track my order?

A: Most of our orders are sent out by UPS or Royal Mail Signed For and our customer service department can either give you the tracking number or track it for you on your behalf.

Q: What should I do if my goods do not arrive?

A: Please contact our customer service department and they will look into the reason for non delivery for you.

Q: Can I arrange my own transport?

A: Yes, you can arrange your own transport from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm. Fridays: 8.30pm to 3.15pm.

Q: Can I collect in person?

A: Yes, orders can be collected in person from our goods inward department.

Q: Can you send small packets by post?

A: We can send small packets by post either by recorded delivery or by normal post, which is not trackable.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, but with certain possible restrictions, please contact our sales office for clarification if you are based outside of the EU.

Q: Can you offer technical support?

A: Yes, please contact our sales office in the first instance.

Q: Are all of your products ROHS and Reach compliant?

A: This depends on the product, so please consult our sales office for clarification.

Q: Can you supply data sheets?

A: Our website offers access to many detailed catalogues. If you cannot find the information you require there, our sales office will be happy to provide you with additional information.

Q: Can you supply 3D models?

A: We can supply 3D models for most Weald Electronics products, as well as for Souriau D38999 connectors. Please contact our sales office if you have a requirement.

Q: Are the products you sell brand new?

A: Yes all of our products are brand new.
