Huber & Suhner RF terminations are employed in very different fields of RF and microwave tech-nology and excellently meet the requirements of:
• design and engineering
• test and measurement
• build-in items for systems
Terminations are mainly used to terminate transmission lines in their characteristic impedance to avoid RF wave reflections. Reflections also cause distortion of information.
Features and benefits
• broadband operationability
• low and medium power types
• all connectors meet the relevant IEC / MIL / CECC interface standards
high repeatability

Connectors featuring a two stud bayonet-coupling mechanism which is particularly useful for frequently coupled and uncoupled RF connections with frequencies up to 4 GHz (50 OHM) and 1 GHz (75 OHM).
MMCX connectors are designed for frequency ranges from DC up to 6 GHz and for applications where smallest dimensions have to be achieved.
SMB subminiature connectors are designed for applications from DC up to 4 GHz. The SMB snap-on mechanism provides a fast and reliable connection for applications with high packing densities. |
The SMC subminiature connector series is based on the same design as the SMB and SMS series. Due to its screw-on coupling mechanism, SMC connectors are suitable for applications up to 10 GHz.
SMS connectors are used in applications requiring rapid connection and disconnection. Thanks to the slide-on mechanism and the resulting low engaging and disengaging forces, these connectors are ideal for rack or panel systems. SMS connectors are suitable for applications up to 4 GHz.
SMA precision connectors are ideal for microwave applications up to 18 GHz / 26.5 GHz. |
PC 3.5 precision connectors are designed for microwave applications up to 33 GHz. They are especially suitable for use with semi-rigid cables and microwave components.
The SK portfolio includes precision connectors for microwave applications up to 40 GHz.
They are intermateable with SMA and PC 3.5 series, have a high mechanical stability and an excellent repeatability
Coaxial inserts from HUBER+SUHNER are designed in accordance to DIN 41626/2. The 1.0/2.3 inserts are suitable for applications up to 4 GHz.
The QLA 00 series includes connectors with a quick latch coupling mechanism: the connection is achieved by simply pushing the plug into the jack. This coupling mechanism provides a fast and reliable connection for applications up to 1.4 GHz.
TNC connectors are threaded RF connectors applicable from DC up to 1 GHz (75 Ohm) and 11 GHz (50 Ohm). The threaded coupling mechanism allows the use under higher environmental load than BNC.
BNO twin connectors are two pin bayonet-coupled connectors for the use with balanced twin-conductor cables with 75 to 130 impedance.
BNT triaxial connectors feature a bayonet-coupling mechanism and three concentric contacts (inner conductor, inner screen and outer screen) for triaxial cables.
BNT connectors are suitable for applications up to 3 GHz.
SHV - Safe High Voltage connectors provide more secure handling due to well-recessed center contacts. This prevents shock hazards in unmated condition. All inner contacts are fully captivated and will withstand axial forces of 100 N minimum. |
MHV connectors are coaxial Miniature High Voltage connectors with 5 kV rms test voltage in mated condition and a working voltage up to 1.6 kV rms. They suit applications up to 300 MHz.
N connectors are available with 50 and 75 impedance. The frequency range extends up to 18 GHz, depending on the connector and cable type. The screw-type coupling mechanism provides a sturdy and reliable connection.
Mechanically very rugged coaxial connectors with screw lock. They have a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms , applicable with excellent electrical properties up to 7.5 GHz. |
