LMHF RANGE - EMI SUPPRESSION FILTER CONNECTORS The LMHF filter connector series is a version of Weald’s established and successful MIL-C-26482 series 1 compliant LMH bayonet coupling circular connector and, as a result, is ideal for demanding applications requiring EMI suppression. The connectors are designed to eliminate the need for external filters which means reduced weight and less assembly time and cost.     The connectors incorporate multilayer ceramic planar capacitor arrays to form the capacitive filtering elements. This enables a variety of filter values and configurations to be realised within a single filtered connector and, as a result, C, LC and Pi section filtering can all be accommodated within a single shell. MICRO38999 CONNECTORS – UP TO 50% SMALLER & LIGHTER THAN MIL-DTL-38999 SERIES III TYPES BUT WITH THE SAME HIGH PERFORMANCE LEVELS Lane Electronics has made available Souriau’s new micro38999 circular connectors which have been designed for the most demanding environments and offer considerable performance advantages over even the smallest MIL-DTL-38999 Series III units. The new micro38999 connectors satisfy the increasing demand for more compact, lighter connection solutions for military, aerospace and industrial applications. The micro38999 units allow size and weight savings of as much as 50% when compared with regular MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors. As an example, micro38999 connectors can withstand vibration levels of up 44Grms at a temperature of 125ºC for up to 8 hours. The micro38999 circular connectors are available in three different fastening systems – screw fastening, bayonet coupling and push-pull. Lane Electronics has available product in the classic Cadmium, Zinc Cobalt and Electroless Nickel finishes although the connectors can be supplied with non-reflective black zinc nickel protection to satisfy the latest RoHS directives.

The IP65 rated LMJ / MS range is ideally suited for use in industrial environments where a high resistance to vibration and the ingress of liquids are high priorities. The LMJ range comes with aluminium alloy shells in 13 sizes, a threaded coupling and a neoprene insert and can be supplied with between 1 and 104 solder bucket or crimp contacts. The MG Series offers contact arrangements for both power and signal applications and can withstand high levels of shock and vibration.
